🏍️ Boda bodas, the lifeblood of transport in East Africa, are getting a blockchain upgrade! Watu, an asset financing company, is partnering with Nodle's blockchain-powered decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) to track these motorbike taxis. Watu has financed over a million Africans, enabling them to purchase motorcycles and offer taxi services. Nodle's DePIN will provide real-time location data for these vehicles, safeguarding owners from theft and giving Watu a clear view of its financed assets. The project kicks off in Uganda in May 2024, with plans to vroom into Kenya, Tanzania, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. 🌍
