According to ChainCatcher, Klaytn was renamed kaia after merging with the Finschia mainnet, and it carries a new native token KAIA, whose symbol will be a stylized "&", symbolizing Klaytn and Finschia's focus on partners and communities, in order to bring others (builders, enterprises, users, traders, etc.) together. Kaia plans to complete chain integration and launch the mainnet by the end of June.

It is reported that Klaytn and Line's public chain project Finschia proposed the KGP-25 proposal at the end of January this year, aiming to create the largest Web3 ecosystem in Asia through a merger. The proposal was voted through on February 15.
