Law firm Paul Weiss no longer represents FTX founder SBF. Paul Weiss said on Friday that the firm had stopped representing SBF, citing a conflict of interest. It was previously reported that SBF's legal counsel has been changed from Paul Weiss to David Mills, a professor of criminal law and white-collar crime at Stanford Law School. It is reported that SBF’s father, Joseph Bankman, also teaches at Stanford Law School. Less than a week ago, the SBF hired Paul Weiss to defend him. So far, SBF has not been charged with any crime, but he has been investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), among other agencies.
