French multinational giant Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services (Sodexo BRS), a publicly listed tech-enabled leader in employee benefits and engagement platforms, has embarked on an exciting journey to embrace the world as part of its global rebrand across 31 countries, using Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) to increase employee engagement and enrich culture.
In partnership with the DFINITY Foundation, a major contributor to the Internet Computer Protocol, and Yumi, the leading digital marketplace for NFTs on ICP, new brand Pluxee has launched an exclusive NFT collection for its 5,000+ employees.
This move not only demonstrates their commitment to adopting cutting-edge blockchain technology, but also brings an interesting and innovative NFT use case to corporate initiatives aimed at shaping company culture.
Sodexo aims to fully reorient employees to new digitally native brand values and give every employee the opportunity to mint their first NFT.
To achieve this at scale, Sodexo needed a blockchain that could provide a web2-like experience for its employees while leveraging the core benefits of security provided by blockchain, with the Internet Computer unanimously becoming the blockchain of choice as speed and efficiency are critical.
X-Collection: Driving employee engagement and culture
X-Collection was unveiled on the day of the rebranding announcement at the Sodexo event in Paris, where every employee had the opportunity to scan a QR code and mint an exclusive NFT from a collection of 5,000 NFTs.
Designed by renowned NFT artist Candace Marquette using artificial intelligence tools, the NFT series represents the diversity and culture of Sodexo’s employees.
They encouraged employees to interact, trade, and connect through the X Collection’s shared experience, a unique initiative that sparked conversations, strengthened relationships, and created a vibrant community within the organization while leveraging the transformative power of NFTs.

Another huge incentive to encourage more and more employees to mint their NFTs is to tie each mint to a donation to the Stop Hunger Fund, again a deep-rooted initiative at Sodexo, and this NFT launch provides an opportunity to reinforce that message.
