The Hong Kong government announced the establishment of a task force for the development of the third generation Internet (Web3.0). The task force is chaired by Financial Secretary Paul Chan Mo-po and includes 15 non-official members from relevant industries, as well as representatives from relevant key government officials and financial regulators. Non-official members will be appointed for a two-year term effective July 1, 2023.
