PANews reported on April 17 that according to the latest data from ChainArgos, Tether (USDT) conducted a large-scale issuance and redemption activity on April 16. A total of $848 million of USDT was issued on that day, and $167 million of USDT was redeemed. Issuance: A total of approximately $598 million of USDT was transferred to Bitfinex via an intermediate address, and approximately $181 million of USDT was transferred to Kraken via an intermediate address in multiple transactions. Redemption: Bitfinex addresses redeemed $160 million, and Binance 16 addresses redeemed over $7 million.
