Popular crypto trader and YouTuber Brian Jung says he has been rejecting partnership offers from crypto companies since he was caught during the FTX crash. He admits it was one of the lowest moments of his career. Jung rejected several offers, including Coinbase, and says he learned from his experience with FTX.
He faced a billion-dollar lawsuit along with other celebrities and influencers who had sponsorship deals with FTX before its bankruptcy. Jung, 25, did his FTX influencer stint essentially for free.
Jung attracts a large audience for his hot crypto tips to his YouTube channel, which has 1.78 million subscribers. While he's unsure of the number of people he's persuaded to join FTX, he thinks he's gotten along with the plaintiffs and the big winners are the lawyers.
Although Jung is "in danger of losing everything" at FTX, he is still able to pay his parents' mortgage and give them a monthly allowance.
Jung started making videos about credit cards before jumping into crypto content. This led to a steady increase in YouTube followers, with some following Jung to other platforms, including X.
Jung is feeling particularly optimistic about Aerodrome Finance (AERO) in particular. AERO's target is still in the three to five dollar range if similar to Uniswap. Jung says $20 is possible for AERO, but only if Bitcoin hits the $125,000-150,000 mark.
