As part of the six-month Builder Series, after four weeks of workshops, builds, and submissions, the BNB Chain Zero2Hero Hackathon has concluded successfully. More than 2,600 developers, product managers, UI/UX designers, and other talented people participated in this hackathon. The competition was fantastic, the demo day performance was impressive, and the winners shared a prize pool of $200,000.

Finally, 19 winning projects were selected from 7 tracks: Greenfield, NFT, Gamify & Metaverse, SocialFi, Infra, Defi, Innovation, and Cross-chain. The first place in each track will automatically enter the next stage of the incubator. In addition, the partners of the hackathon also provided generous bounty task rewards.

Greenfield Raceway

Champion: origami

Origami is an integrated platform for 3D enthusiasts that provides secure Capsule storage for 3D objects, leveraging blockchain for ultimate asset protection. Capsules can be easily shared and collaborated on, fostering creativity. In addition, Origami also has a thriving marketplace for creators to sell their work and for collectors to invest in unique digital assets.

2nd place: LOYO

LOYO is a new generation of loyalty program infrastructure, which enables enterprises to reduce the cost of building loyalty program infrastructure by 500 times and obtain decentralized open data on greenfield sites with endless insight opportunities. Compared with traditional loyalty programs, LOYO does not require users to provide personal data to obtain rewards, which is more conducive to protecting customers' personal privacy.

3. Relation Grap

Relation-Graph is a decentralized social graph deployed on the BNB chain, which inherits the Relation Protocol. It creates a blockchain-native data layer through SBT and standard data formats, enabling developers to build decentralized social graphs on the blockchain. Any developer can create functions and data types in their social layer, while allowing users to retain their social relationships and content on the social network regardless of changes in the application layer.

DeFi Track

Champion: Metavisor

Metavisor is a liquidity optimization and automation platform for fully on-chain liquidity provision and management. It helps automate and optimize liquidity, automatically keeping it within the optimal range for maximum yield, and automatically balancing when necessary, resulting in improved capital efficiency and higher returns.

2. Derivable

Uniswap solves the spot DEX problem, Derivable solves the perpetual contract DEX problem. Derivable innovates the first AMM for perpetual swaps derived from a novel derivatives pricing curve. This allows anyone to create any perpetual pool of any asset with unlimited liquidity and no liquidation or undercollateralization risk. Anyone can stand in as a liquidity provider or a long-short trader. Similar to Uniswap, Sushiswap or PancakeSwap, Derivable can run efficiently on any layer 1 mainnet (even Ethereum), fully automated, decentralized and permissionless.

3. Rivera Money

Rivera Money is a permissionless protocol that enables structured products on Uni v3. Their technology allows users to personalize the risk associated with adding liquidity to a centralized liquidity pool. This enables LPs from different risk profiles to easily participate in liquidity provision.

Infra Track

Champion: BNB Point

BNB Point is a mobile-first wallet, cash-out platform, and point-of-sale super app. It will integrate with Web3 through Rapyd’s TradFi to improve financial inclusion in Mexico and Latin America. Through Rapyd’s API, BNB Point manages the app’s users, checkout, exchanges, and KYC. The exchange is the only part of the platform where they coordinate fiat and crypto services to convert crypto (BNB) to USD.

2. Hashleap

Hashleap is a Web3 payment and financial management DApp. During the hackathon, the team brought it to BNB Chain along with new improvements, including a new upgradeable payment transfer smart contract so they can store important information about transactions on-chain, a new subscription smart contract, and a contract that allows cross-chain transfers using Axelar.

Third place: Defi Terminal

Defi Terminal aims to bring institutional risk management to the masses. It manages the risk of DeFi portfolios in three ways: monitoring contracts and user interfaces to ensure there is no smart contract risk, monitoring transactions in and out of pools/DApps, and monitoring traffic and prices. Their vision is to become a DefiLllama customized for every Defi user.

SocialFi Track

Champion: Cratch

Cratch is a decentralized live broadcast and video streaming platform in the Metaverse. It allows users to create or watch live streams in mobile apps, website platforms, and the Metaverse world while providing rewards for every minute they spend on the platform. The team is building this platform to solve many problems in the video sharing and live broadcasting space, such as censorship, data collection, and targeted advertising.

2nd Place: CollabY

CollabY is a decentralized influencer DApp that connects brands with influencers to collaborate on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter. This DApp simplifies the complex collaboration process between influencers and brands, removing the uncertainty in influencer quality, audience relevance, and smooth collaboration, and ensures fair compensation for influencers.

3rd Place: DeCheck

DeCheck is building a decentralized community to audit and review cryptocurrency projects. It is a DAO for project review, aiming to promote cryptocurrency towards a more transparent and healthy direction through a combination of token contract code audits and manual reviews.

NFT, Gamify & Metaverse Track

Champion: Plearnyx

Plearnyx aims to gamify the learning experience, incentivizing people to participate actively in order to earn SBT-based reputation and cryptocurrency rewards. As a browser game for coding competitions, it will attract, evaluate and incorporate new software developers into the ecosystem of BNB or other partners. It will also introduce an early version of the educational mechanism through quizzes and rewards.

2nd Place: The Project Napoléon

The Project Napoléon aims to revolutionize the world of NFTs by combining them with the power of Web3 technology. It has developed an enhanced version of ERC-3525 SFTs using ERC-2535 diamonds. The platform allows you to inspect SFTs and participate in various activities such as merging and splitting SFTs, DeFi staking. It uses the latest BNB Greenfield to ensure that our token-related JSON and image files are in different containers of Greenfield. The model it creates should be used in the bond market to merge and split bond-related properties to solve some bond problems and more.

Third place: NFKey

The NFKey team is developing a cutting-edge secure lock system by integrating smart locks and Web 3 technologies. The initial implementation involves integrating Nuki smart locks, allowing users to experience enhanced security and convenience. In the future, the team plans to expand their integration to support a wider range of smart locks, providing users with more choices.

Innovation Track

Champion: Termix

TermiX is a one-stop AI-based Web3 interactive terminal dedicated to making on-chain operations simpler, more efficient, and more secure for all users. It trains large language models designed specifically for Web3. It also has an open plugin market similar to OpenAI, allowing any protocol and application to quickly integrate into the ecosystem.

2. Crypto Mayhem

Crypto Mayhem aims to combine the multiverse. The project solves the problem that different types of players cannot coexist within one ecosystem. In its initial stage, Crypto Mayhem wants to combine two game types: Grand Strategy and Top-Down Shooter. In the future, it plans to implement existing ones and make more games from this studio.

Cross-chain track

First place: Defi Terminal

Covered in the Infrastructure track above.

Influencers receive additional rewards based on their reputation on the B4B platform and can withdraw their rewards in USDC. During the hackathon, they added cross-chain integration and supported BNB Chain through Axelar.

Nearly 50 projects were also awarded bounty missions from our hackathon partners.
