Ethereum-based NFT game Munchables witnessed the return of $62.8 million worth of Ether stolen as a result of a security breach, without a ransom demand. More than 17,400 ETH were lost from the GameFi app as a result of the breach that took place on March 26. Munchables collaborated with blockchain security experts such as PeckShield and ZachXBT to recover the stolen assets. On March 27, Munchables identified the culprit as one of its own developers, and after an hour of negotiations, the individual agreed to return the stolen Ether.
