London venture firm IQ Capital announced that it has raised $400 million, which will be used to increase investment in "deep technology" fields, including artificial intelligence, blockchain and quantum computing.
Max Bautin, co-founder and managing partner of IQ Capital, said deep tech companies will have a "transformative impact" in the coming years.
Earlier, David Duong, head of institutional research at Coinbase, also stated in a report that the interaction between artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency has brought huge opportunities to entrepreneurs who want to build in the Web3 field. The report pointed out that crypto projects involving artificial intelligence models are still relatively rare, accounting for only 0.07% of the total crypto market value. (Pymnt)
