Shibarium's LUCIE has warned the Shiba Inu community about scams, advising them to watch out for suspicious links offering unexpected rewards. 🚨

Despite potential scams, SHIB value increased by 18% weekly thanks to effective token burns and advances of Shibarium. 📈

LUCIE has urged the Shiba Inu community to be extremely careful when clicking suspicious links “announcing unexpected rewards” from prominent individuals or organisations.

SHIB official stated that such links are most likely coming from hacked accounts and said that people should avoid linking their wallets to dubious sites.

Last month, LUCIE warned the community about potential scams related to SHEboshi NFTs. The digital art was a huge success, with 20,000 collectibles selling out in less than three hours after the second-stage printing process was completed.

Shiba Inu is among the most popular cryptocurrencies due to its fluctuating price and large number of owners, which explains why scammers often target the community.

Currently, SHIB is trading at around $0.0000321 and is up 18% on a weekly basis. This rise can be attributed to the advancement of the successful burning mechanism and layer-2 blockchain solution Shibarium.

As CryptoPotato reported today, the burn rate increased by 1,200%, leading to the destruction of more than 50 million tokens. Shibarium, on the other hand, left behind another major milestone by exceeding 400 million in total transactions at the beginning of March.
