✨ FTX sells 2/3 shares of Anthropic for 884 million USD

💠 According to court documents, the assets of bankrupt crypto exchange FTX are selling two-thirds of its shares in AI company Anthropic for $884 million.

➡️ The company plans to sell 29.5 million shares to 24 buyers. Chief among them is Abu Dhabi-based Third International Investment Company ATIC, which is making a $500 million purchase of 16.6 million shares. Jane Street is spending $100 million on the purchase of 3.3 million shares, while funds managed by Fidelity are spending $50 million on 1.5 million shares

➡️ Three years ago, FTX bought shares of Anthropic for 500 million USD. The famous AI startup's 8% stake is currently valued at more than $1 billion.
