Introduction
As cryptocurrency continues to grow in popularity, the increasing number of exchanges and trading tools can be a hassle, especially for new users. To make it easier for everyone to buy Bitcoin and other popular cryptocurrencies, Binance has introduced a simplified version of the Binance app called Binance Lite. The feature is now available to most Binance users.
What is Binance Lite?
Binance Lite is a simplified version of the Binance app. It offers an intuitive interface with a reduced amount of information on the main page of the application. Users will only see the essential features when launching the app, making the lite mode an ideal choice for cryptocurrency beginners and new Binance users. Also, if you are using an old mobile device or a limited internet connection, Binance Lite can provide better performance than the classic Pro version.
Currently, Binance Lite is the default interface when users first open the Binance app. They can easily switch between Lite and Pro modes at any time according to their preferences and trading needs. To change app mode, click on the profile icon in the upper left corner and swipe right next to [Binance Lite].

Compared to Binance Pro, Binance Lite is more user-friendly, which made it easier for new users to navigate. In the Lite version, users will see only the prices of the most popular cryptocurrencies on the main page of the application, as well as a green or red line that will show the dynamics of prices over a certain period of time. Despite the simplified interface, users can still sort coins by popularity, market cap, price, and 24-hour change. They can also click on a specific coin to check its price trend on the candlestick chart, which can be customized to show the trend over different time periods. Information and news about the coin is also included below.

Users can buy cryptocurrency in just a few steps on Binance Lite. All they have to do is click the [Trading] button on the coin's page. Select the fiat currency to use, enter the purchase amount and choose a payment method to confirm the order. The purchased cryptocurrency can be viewed in the wallet. It's the same with selling cryptocurrency. Click [Sell] in the upper right corner or use the [Conversion] function to convert different coins.

In addition to the main trading functions, Binance Lite offers users other Binance Earn products to increase their crypto assets. Binance Earn is similar to a savings account. Users can sign their idle coins to BNB Vault or Perpetual Savings and earn stable income. Earn's products are perpetual, meaning users can deposit funds, earn interest and redeem at any time without transaction fees.
To subscribe to Binance Earn products, click on the Earn banner on the main page of the app. Users will see all available coins and their approximate APY.

What is the difference between Binance Lite and Binance Pro?
As already mentioned, Binance Lite mode is used by default for all newbies. This is a more user-friendly mode for those new to cryptocurrency trading, allowing them to quickly check prices and make purchases from the home page.
Although the more complex features of the product are removed from Lite mode, the most frequently used basic functions are easily accessible in the navigation bar at the bottom. Users can click on the middle yellow icon to buy, sell or convert cryptocurrency, or click on the wallet icon to check their wallet balance, asset allocation and portfolio value.

On the other hand, Binance Pro offers versatile trading features to meet the needs of professional traders, such as futures trading, options trading and margin trading. The trading interface in the Pro version is more robust and offers advanced charting tools and order types. In addition to the more sophisticated interface, users can trade on Binance P2P with other users or accumulate their crypto assets through the various staking plans available on Binance Earn.
Final thoughts
If you are an active or experienced trader, the Pro version may be a better choice as it provides more features and trading tools so you can take advantage of the variety of Binance products and services we have to offer. If you are new to this area and looking for a quick and easy way to get started, we recommend using Lite mode first. In any case, you can always experiment with both options, as switching between the Lite and Pro versions is very easy.
