What is an Anti-Phishing Code?
Anti-Phishing Code is a security feature provided by Binance that allows users to add an extra layer of security to their accounts. Once activated, it will be included in all legitimate emails sent to you by Binance. This code will help you distinguish genuine emails from those containing phishing, preventing you from falling for this type of scam.
How to set up your first Anti-Phishing Code
Navigate to your account dashboard. You can find the Anti-Phishing Code configuration button when entering the “Security” tab. To get started, click on the button that says “Create Anti-Phishing Code”.

Soon after, you will see a field where you can enter a random Anti-Phishing Code of your choice. It is worth remembering that the code must have at least 8 characters, with capital letters and numbers. It is recommended to create a code that is highly difficult to guess, but that is also easily recognized by you.

Now you will need to enter the Google or SMS authentication code, depending on which type of protection was chosen previously.

After you have entered the two-factor authentication code, your new Anti-Phishing Code will have been created successfully. Now, all genuine emails sent by Binance will contain the code you chose and configured.
Tip: It is recommended to update/change this code at least once a month.
How to update your Anti-Phishing code
As it is recommended to regularly update your Anti-Phishing Code to stay as safe as possible, you can follow the following steps to carry out this procedure.
Navigate to the Anti-Phishing Code settings page in your account dashboard and you will see a button that says “Change code”, click to begin the process.

Enter your new Anti-Phishing Code in the designated area, remembering that the new code must contain at least 8 characters with at least one capital letter and one number.

Again, you will need to enter the Google or SMS authentication code, depending on which type of protection was chosen previously.

Immediately after entering the two-factor authentication code, your new Anti-Phishing Code will have been successfully updated. Now, all genuine emails sent by Binance will contain the code you chose and updated.
