On May 25, according to the official Twitter, the Zcash development team Electric Coin Co. (ECC) announced today a reorganization of the company, which will narrow the team's focus and transfer some Zcash support functions to the broader community to improve the resilience and sustainability of Zcash development. ECC said that the company laid off 13 employees in this reorganization, which is about half of its team. In the next few weeks, ECC will release a revised roadmap that focuses on empowering ZEC holders and giving them a voice.
