Together, an open source generative AI model cloud platform, announced the completion of a $20 million seed round of financing, led by Lux Capital, with participation from Long Journey Ventures, Robot Ventures, PayPal co-founder Scott Banister, OpenSea co-founder Alex Atallah, and Uniswap COO MC Lader.
It is reported that Together plans to use the research on distributed optimization to build a dedicated cloud platform for large models, which can effectively expand training and reasoning. In the next few months, it plans to open access to the platform to achieve rapid customization and coupling of basic models with production tasks. Open models will enable developers and organizations to better understand, inspect and utilize AI without vendor lock-in and provide strong privacy protection. (Planet Daily)
