We have already felt that the narrative of Hong Kong Web3 is Onchain Real World Assets (real world assets on the chain). This may be the most correct and feasible path for Hong Kong, China, to move towards the next era of digital civilization through the encrypted economy.

But we still believe that this is not enough to enable Hong Kong to become a global encryption center, especially in this crucial transition era from the encryption economy to the digital society - we believe that the blockchain will give birth to digital DID and physical technologies including AI. Social human mapping DID will lead to better order in the digital civilized society. However, in this transitional stage, there are still competing elements of real society related to sovereignty, race, and other beliefs.

Therefore, ThePrimediaDAO not only focuses on the mainstream narrative of the integration of the crypto market and the real world in Hong Kong at this stage, but we are also paying attention to the role, function and value of Onchain Native Assets in the process of moving from the crypto economy to the digital society.

We believe that in the grand narrative of "AI+Web3" in the next twenty years, we must have a sense of urgency regarding important issues concerning human survival and development, including the planning of intelligent network governance of AI through blockchain/Web3, and the survival paradigm of DID in the digital society after humans in the physical society are "laid off by AI"... Whoever can occupy the high ground in these areas will determine the position of this "organizational form such as sovereignty, race, and other beliefs" in the transitional era.

After a series of discussions on blockchain/Web3 building digital social governance in "Why is it groundless to talk about the "AI threat theory" again", we focus on the survival paradigm of humans after being "laid off by AI", and Web3 social networking has entered our field of vision (as for why it is Web3 social networking, it will be discussed in the first part). This article will try to use CrossSpace as an example to analyze the value logic and survival rules of Web3 "community and users" in the digital society.

1. Value: An overlooked universal solution

Let us first briefly introduce the typical practice cases of Web3 social networking over a period of time:

Perhaps due to the overcorrection of the previous cycle of gamefi and socialfi, the current focus of web3 social networking is on decentralized anti-censorship and the ownership of content/relationships, which has intentionally or unintentionally deviated from the narrative of web3 value Internet. Even if there are some behaviors of value capture and interaction through independent protocols, it still does not make much sense if it does not form the narrative of the entire social value network.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with caring about decentralized anti-censorship and the ownership of content/relationships, but this is just a fantasy brought about by mapping the troubles of the real world to the Web3 world, thinking that solving these problems will bring a better world. This is an important narrative of blockchain, but to a certain extent it also deviates from the narrative of the Web3 value Internet and the mainstream narrative that we can move towards a digital society through the crypto economy.

It is necessary for us to re-examine the role and function of web3 social in the narrative of the value Internet. In the process of iterative evolution of human beings towards the digital world jointly constructed by "AI+web3", we must rely on the value Internet to solve the value and survival of individuals (DID) and organizations (DAO) in the digital civilization society; and web3 social is the path that is closest to the most universal solution for all people.

During the writing of this article, CrossSpace organized a space discussion on "CrossSpace's Asset Expectations", and we will continue to discuss this.

2. Law: Community survival based on consensus and anti-consensus

CrossSpace is meeting the needs of Web3 users at the individual (DID) and organizational (DAO and Web3 application community) levels, making the governance of the community and DAO well organized. It has all the elements of community management.

CrossSpace provides a variety of tools for community managers, such as Role Based Access Control, which is similar to Discord; the public domain has forum functions similar to Reddit; the AIGC-driven NFT honor system is built... However, if you think CrossSpace is a community management tool, you are wrong. You can get a glimpse of its ambition from its SBT/NFT and the mechanism by which CrossSpace brings assets to users.

In the crypto world, communities (various types of DAOs and communities of different Web3 applications) are the mainstream organizational form and the main place for DID behavior contribution and value capture - or it can be said that the source of digital social user assets is mainly the tokenization of community behavior contributions.

However, not all communities have the ability to capture value themselves. For example, the "anti-consensus" position in a new scientific frontier theory position, whether in the physical world or in the digital society, needs commercial monetization that transcends the times to have the ability to capture economic value.

Every major advancement of human civilization is accompanied by occasional "anti-consensus" practices, but in the digital civilization order we are about to usher in, "anti-consensus" will exist as a normal state. From a micro perspective, DAO is the opposite of the traditional company system, and "anti-consensus" is reflected in this iterative process; from a macro perspective, the existence of DID in the digital civilization ecosystem no longer depends on organizations that exist based on consensus (such as governments, enterprises, etc.).

In CrossSpace, communities that have formed consensus and have their own TOKEN models and communities that are "anti-consensus" and do not have the ability to capture value can adapt to the social assetization in the Web3 value Internet narrative - in a nutshell, CrossSpace has a universal value capture logic for Web3 communities. More corresponding functions and mechanisms will be presented in version iterations, and its full picture is not what you see now.

3. Iteration: The “On-chain Native Asset” Model

For Web3 community managers, how to manage and motivate community members with different backgrounds and accumulate social assets is a new proposition; and for Web3 participants, how to manage their identities, contributions, and tasks in different communities is also an extremely cumbersome task.

Therefore, in the aforementioned community social assetization framework, it is also necessary to implement it specifically to each DID user in order to complete the universal path of digital society Web3 social assetization - all effective behaviors of users can be tokenized/assetized.

Based on the universal value capture logic of the Web3 community, CrossSpace provides a gamified social and collaborative experience, enabling users to collaborate across communities and without boundaries in Web3. Users’ contributions in different communities can be included in the CrossSpace NFT points system, thereby realizing the Web3 social assetization of DID individuals in CrossSpace. CrossSpace also completes the user’s “on-chain native asset” model in turn.

Hong Kong is solidifying its narrative of “real assets on the chain” - the Hong Kong government uses the $1 trillion market for virtual currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum as a comparison, and using tokenization to increase the liquidity of various assets including bonds, real estate and alternative assets is a trillion-dollar business opportunity.

As a representative project of Hong Kong's local Web3 social network, it is necessary for us to analyze the relationship between "real assets on the chain" and "native assets on the chain" here. We believe that the Hong Kong government's narrative of "real assets on the chain" is extremely beneficial to the crypto-economic ecosystem, because DeFi has been played to the extreme, and the native Web3 track of the crypto-economic market is still in its very early stages. With the help of "real assets on the chain", it will be possible to bring DeFi from a zero-sum financial speculation game to the capital allocation stage of enabling Web3 applications.

Therefore, as mentioned at the beginning, the narrative of "on-chain real world assets" should not be the goal. It should be the most valuable and feasible path for the current crypto narrative in Hong Kong - behind seizing the trillion-dollar Onchain Real World Assets business opportunities, we should also pay attention to the survival paradigm of Onchain Native Assets in the "digital society DID" in the grander narrative of "AI+Web3", which is related to our position in the epic process of "moving to the next digital civilization era through the crypto economy".

CrossSpace has already started to practice Web3 social networking as a universal solution for the survival paradigm of "digital society DID" under this great era background. Of course, Web3 social networking and CrossSpace are just a track and typical case practice with possibility and feasibility. This topic deserves our continued attention, and we look forward to more crypto ecosystem builders participating in this process.
