According to TechFlow, an on-chain analyst named Ember monitored that a certain whale/institution purchased 446,000 UNI tokens worth $5 million within 18 hours. Previously, they purchased 20,718 ETH at an average price of $2,420 in January.
The whale/institution deposited USDT worth $80.24 million into eight addresses in early January, and then transferred $50.14 million from five addresses to Binance and Bitfinex between January 21 and 23, purchasing 20,718 ETH, while $30 million in another three addresses has not yet been used.
Recently, the funds began to be used, with $25 million being transferred to Binance, and 446,000 UNI tokens worth $5 million were subsequently withdrawn from Binance.
It is worth noting that the 20,718 ETH purchased by the institution in January has achieved a floating profit of more than 41%, worth approximately US$20.73 million.
