PANews reported on November 8 that BitDAO’s official Twitter account stated that 100 million BITs held by Alameda have been transferred to the chain. To enhance community confidence, BitDAO recommends that the swapped BITs and FTTs be kept in their respective on-chain addresses until the end of the three-year commitment period agreed in October 2021 to not sell each other’s tokens.
As previously reported, BitDAO asked Alameda to transfer 100 million BIT to an on-chain address for verification by the BitDAO community and asked the other party to complete it within 24 hours. In the evening, 92 million BIT was transferred from FTX to an address marked as "Alameda Research 25".
