It’s three numbers:

What do they mean?

🛢️ $109: Oil

Brent crude has already surged to about $109.

The higher the oil price, the more the market worries that inflation could flare up again.

📈 5%: US 10-year Treasury yield

Yields are pushing toward 5%.

The higher the risk-free rate, the more valuation pressure risk assets—like BTC and tech stocks—face.

🏦 71%: Rate hike probability

The market’s pricing for the next meeting’s 25bp rate hike has already climbed to about 71%.

So what BTC is really facing right now is:

OIL ↑

YIELDS ↑

RATE EXPECTATIONS ↑

RISK ASSETS ↓

That’s also why I think:

Today, the most important thing isn’t trying to guess the BTC bottom.

Instead, it’s whether the upcoming CPI can break this logic.

If CPI comes in below expectations:

The market may quickly re-price “the Fed isn’t that hawkish,” and BTC could have a very fast rebound.

But if CPI is again hot:

Then near-5% Treasury yields + oil prices above $100

could keep weighing on the entire crypto market.

So now, this $76K level

might not be a normal price point.

Nonfarm payroll data hits like a heavy hammer: BTC hits 80,000 and then loses it again—yet there’s something else we should pay even closer attention to.

Nonfarm employment added 162,000 jobs, nearly three times the expectation. Rate-hike expectations were pushed to the max, and BTC dumped 2% within three minutes—dropping from 81,000 to 79,500.

In my view, this is a normal pullback. Over the past thirty days, BTC has risen by almost 25%.

It’s like running: after a high-intensity sprint, your pace must slow down—get your breathing back in order and make your steps steady again.
What’s truly dangerous isn’t the pullback itself, but when people forget that they were already trending upward.

On the daily chart, 78,000 is the recent low support. If it holds, BTC can continue higher; if it doesn’t, then you have to start considering a trend reversal.

I still hold my spot position—about 30% of my total allocation. I’ll keep a close eye on the 78,000 support level. If it breaks down or tries to stabilize but fails, I will call the trade in the chat room immediately.
