BITMEX Whales Exiting?

Bitmex whales has been actively trading, building long positions for the last 2~3 weeks.
In the BTC 35.5k~ 37k region, it seems like that they have taken most of their profits off the table. The OI and the funding has dropped sharply returning to norm.
In contrast, other exchanges are showing steady growth in OI still actively building positions in the futures market.
Will the BITMEX whales be right? Is it the right place to take profits off?
