🚀 An important airdrop from Starknet's Ethereum layer-2 solution may be at risk due to airdrop farmers. On February 15, Yearn Finance developer banteg reported that 1,854 users allegedly renamed or deleted their accounts after the Starknet airdrop blockchain snapshot.

- Starknet Foundation will distribute 700 million STRK tokens out of 1.8 billion to 1.3 million wallet addresses on February 20

- Banteg claims that about half of the accounts are occupied by “squatters”, but they will not be able to steal tokens

- Airdrop farmers seek to make money by receiving tokens, hoping for their value

- Starknet, launched in December 2022, has a total value locked (TVL) of $55 million

Airdrop is not available to citizens of the US, UK and countries sanctioned by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).
