▌Senior European officials to hold talks in April on the future direction of cryptocurrency regulation
Golden Finance reported that a document showed that senior European officials are preparing for talks in April, and industry insiders said the talks could lead the future direction of cryptocurrency regulation. The "non-paper" is an informal, unsigned document shared by EU institutions in closed-door negotiations, which points out what will be discussed at the upcoming April meeting of the Financial Services Committee (FSC), which is composed of high-level representatives from the 27 EU countries and its executive body, the European Commission. The document said that the Financial Services Committee aims to promote policy coordination among EU countries. The committee is seeking feedback from its members on the priorities and challenges of digital finance, sustainable finance, competitiveness of the EU financial industry and economic security in the next five years. Important economic developments
▌Former Federal Reserve economist: Now is not the time for the central bank to delay rate cuts. It is time for the Federal Reserve to give way.
Sahm, a former Fed economist, published an article saying that the US CPI rose more than expected in January, mainly due to rising housing costs, and the road back to low inflation is still bumpy. However, bringing greater shocks to other economic sectors and financial markets will be a mistake that the Fed must avoid this year. Currently, the Fed is considering cutting interest rates against the backdrop of a strong economy. Some people believe that this strong growth means that the Fed should not cut interest rates. But the risks are real, and the rise in the federal funds rate has put pressure on the real estate market, as well as credit markets and banks. Several officials said that the "worst possible outcome" is that the Fed starts to cut interest rates and then has to raise interest rates when inflation picks up. Sahm believes that this is a strange concern, and from the beginning, this cycle has little to do with the Fed. He said that now is not the time for the central bank to delay cutting interest rates, and it is time for the Fed to give way.
▌Federal Reserve Goolsbee: I do not support waiting for inflation to reach 2% before cutting interest rates
Fed's Goolsbee said that the inflation rate may be a little higher, but it is still possible to reach 2%; he does not support waiting for the inflation rate to reach 2% before lowering interest rates; the Fed's inflation target is based on PCE, not CPI.

What is a miner?
In the cryptocurrency world, miners are analogous to real-world gold diggers. They sift through vast expanses of land in search of extremely rare, valuable nuggets of gold—similarly, miners gain the right to add new blocks to the blockchain through proof of work, while also receiving a sizable reward. Miners play a key role in blockchain networks, as they are responsible for validating new transactions and recording them on a global distributed ledger, the blockchain. It is important to emphasize that miners are a type of full node, which means that they verify all of the rules of the blockchain and only accept blocks that comply with those rules.
