ChainCatcher news, according to the "Bangkok Post" report, real estate tycoon and Thai prime minister contender Srettha Thavisin promised that if he is elected prime minister and forms a government after the May 14 election, he will pay 10,000 baht to each citizen aged 16 and above ( (approximately $300) digital currency for local economic stimulus projects.
Paetongtarn Shinawatra, Pheu Thai’s principal advisor for public engagement and innovation, described the project as a blockchain technology-based effort to help sell Thai-made products abroad and bring digital currency into the country.
