According to TechFlow, Hong Kong blockchain insurance technology company MediConCen announced the completion of US$6.85 million (approximately HK$53.43 million) in Series A financing, led by HSBC Investment Management, with participation from Gaomei Capital, ParticleX, and Yongshi Venture Capital.

Yijie mainly uses the latest artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology to digitize paper and manual claims processes. To date, the company has raised a total of US$12.7 million (approximately HK$99.06 million), and the new funds will accelerate its development in international markets, including the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
