🌎 Why Does Crypto Still Depend on the US Dollar?

Bitcoin was created to offer an alternative to traditional money. But here's something interesting: much of the crypto market still depends on the US dollar.

Take USDT (Tether), for example. It's a stablecoin designed to maintain a value close to $1.

Why do traders use it? Because Bitcoin's price fluctuates, while USDT aims to provide a more stable dollar-linked option.

But this raises an interesting question:

If crypto was created to change the financial system, why does it still rely so heavily on the US dollar?

Is crypto challenging the dollar's power, or simply creating a digital version of it? 🤔
