The most valuable change at GOAT Network this week is hidden in Ziren 2.0

Ziren is #GOAT 's homegrown zkVM and the backbone of the entire GOAT Network tech stack. This week, it got a complete overhaul of its proving core, rebuilt across 1,690 commits. It can now generate real-time proofs for Ethereum: mainnet blocks are proven in an average of 8.6 seconds, compared with Ethereum's 12-second slots, and proof size has been reduced to 284 KiB. The data is available on the public Ethproofs leaderboard.

Don't underestimate that speed. Ziren is ultimately meant to prove every transaction exiting the BitVM3 bridge, so the faster Ziren gets, the cheaper and smoother it becomes to move BTC across chains between Bitcoin and GOAT. Lower proving costs at the foundation directly improve the bridge experience—a tangible upgrade to the network's utility.

The new core retains its hash-based structure, and the heaviest cryptography in the proving system is already quantum-resistant. The remaining elliptic-curve components are also covered by a public post-quantum migration roadmap. The engineering team has an open-source research initiative called Applied PQC, with its source code, benchmarks, and roadmap all available to the public. And as noted in the October newsletter, the BitVM3 bug bounty program has already uncovered and fixed 16 bridge-related issues, laying a solid foundation.

The business side is expanding in parallel. In South Korea, GOAT has signed a partnership with a KOSDAQ-listed company to launch agent payment use cases. NIST has published a timeline for retiring legacy cryptography, and GOAT's direction is right at the forefront. All of the activity at KBW has also been compiled in the monthly recap.

The community has a chance to share in the rewards, too: the GOAT on Socials campaign runs through November 18. Create an original post about content from any channel, and 10 winners will split 250 USDT 🎁.

Back to the fundamental question: what problem does GOAT Network solve? It lets commercial payments directly inherit Bitcoin's verifiable security guarantees—not through institutional endorsements, but through cryptographic verification. The long-term potential of translating BTC's security into real-world transaction guarantees is substantial.

@GOATNetwork has had a packed week, advancing technology, ecosystem, communications, and community all at once. Ziren 2.0 is the key milestone turning that potential into performance.
