BNB/USDT: SATURDAY POSITION AUDIT AND WEEKEND TRADING PROTOCOL
⏱ Reading time: 2.5 minutes
Category: Institutional Audit / Risk Management
Weekends in the crypto market are always a realm of thin order books and local market-maker manipulation. We’re heading into Saturday with a sober audit of our BNB position and an updated trading protocol.

1. MARKET SNAPSHOT (WHAT THE METRICS SHOW)
Momentum has faded: Price action is starting to stall on lower timeframes.
Longs overheating: The share of retail long positions on Binance has risen to 72%.
Open interest (OI): Starting to decline.
What does this mean in market-maker terms?
When open interest falls while the crowd's share of longs rises, it's a classic “spring.” On low weekend volumes, the market has two possible scenarios: a dull sideways range or a sharp wick-driven squeeze that flushes out impatient longs before a move toward the upper liquidity pools.
2. APPROVED TRADING PLAN (RULES)
We are locking in the updated parameters for our open position, with an average entry of ~$687.90:
🔴 Stop-loss ($679.50):
Leave it firmly in place. Below $684, the long structure will be damaged, but a stop at $679.50 provides the necessary mathematical buffer against Saturday's noisy market-maker manipulations.
✅ TP1 (50% of position): $701.20
We’re moving the first take-profit slightly below the round-number levels. We’re getting ahead of the crowd and the bots targeting crowded liquidity, which have built a wall at $702.00. We’ll take 50% of the profit before they do and immediately move the remainder to breakeven (BE).
✅ TP2 (Remainder): $708.50
We’re adjusting the target to fit the realities of a sluggish weekend. We’re not getting greedy and aiming for the utopian $712–$715; instead, we’re taking real institutional liquidity.
3. WEEKEND STRATEGY
Switching to power-saving mode and strict risk control:
No adding to the position, averaging down, or impulsive market orders.
The position is fully protected, and the expected value is on our side.
We simply let the algorithms do their job and bring the price to our orders.
We’re watching the order book and following the rules strictly! 🦾
