Crypto ETFs on 06/11: BlackRock accounts for nearly all outflows, with over $500 million leaving the market
Institutional funds continued to flow out of crypto ETFs in the 06/11 session. BTC ETFs recorded net outflows of $411.9 million, with BlackRock alone selling $403 million—nearly 98% of the total, showing that selling pressure this session was almost entirely concentrated in one issuer.
ETH ETFs also saw heavy outflows of $93.3 million, with BlackRock again the biggest seller at $90.8 million. Combined, more than $505 million left the two largest funds in a single session.
Altcoin ETFs followed the trend: SOL ETFs saw $25.1 million in outflows, while HYPE ETFs shed $8 million. The rare bright spot was ZEC ETFs, which attracted $1.8 million in inflows. In the spot market, ZEC also stood out, rising around 4.5% over 24 hours to trade near 1,316 USDT.
Notably, spot prices have yet to react negatively to ETF flows: BTC is still up slightly, around 0.5%, near 76,034 USDT, while ETH has risen more than 1.1% to 2,248 USDT. Among mid-cap altcoins, $INJ rose 1.44%, $PARTI was flat, and $ERA fell 2.30%—a mixed picture suggesting that capital is being selective rather than retreating across the board.
One strong outflow session does not yet make a trend, but with selling pressure almost entirely concentrated at BlackRock, the market will be watching to see whether this is short-term profit-taking or a signal of a deeper correction.
Do you think ETF inflows will return in the coming sessions, or will selling pressure persist?
