$XRP is down 4% in 24h and trading a hair above its 7-day low of 1.1519. Right now, your brain is your biggest risk.

Quick lesson on FOMO and its evil twin, panic.

Same week, same emotion, two directions:
- XRP is down 7.7% over 7 days. The urge is "sell before it gets worse."
- $HYPE is down 10% on the week, but up 1.2% today. The urge is "it's bouncing, get in before I miss it."

Both urges feel like analysis. Usually they're just discomfort looking for an exit.

What experienced traders do instead:

1. Decide before the candle, not during it. Write your entry, invalidation and size while the chart is calm.
2. Use a 15-minute rule. Feel the urge to click? Wait. If the setup is real, it'll still be there.
3. Ask: "Would I take this trade if I had no position and no opinion?" If not, it's emotion.
4. Size so a loss doesn't hurt. Fear grows with position size.
5. Log how you felt on every trade. After a month, you'll see your patterns clearly.

Markets reward patience far more often than speed. The candle that makes you panic is rarely the one that matters.
