📡 Live update: TRM Labs classifies the Binance hack as a cyberwarfare-level attack.

After hackers infiltrated SignalPlus through a fake Teams invitation, Elliptic’s tracking revealed that they had rapidly converted the laundered tokens into $124 million worth of Bitcoin. This is no longer a small-scale software exploit. Top cybersecurity officials have directly described it as nation-state cyberwarfare, with a level of attack sophistication and speed of money laundering far beyond what retail investors might imagine.

BTC is currently at $75,835, and the Fear Index is at 28. Although exchanges have begun reopening withdrawals, the attackers moved $124 million in assets across chains in an extremely short time, demonstrating a high degree of organization. The whale long/short ratio of 2.29 indicates intense trading activity in the derivatives market, so retail investors should be alert to a potential second liquidity shock.

“When hackers can convert hundreds of millions of dollars into BTC in seconds, this is no longer a vulnerability at a single platform—it’s a security test for liquidity across the entire network.”

(The above is solely my personal observation and is not investment advice.)

The hackers quickly converted the stolen assets into BTC as a safe haven. Have you moved the assets in your hot wallet to a cold wallet?
