#非农就业数据推升加息预期 Intraday U.S. Stock Market Brief (2026.11.06): Who Snatched Up the Bloodied Storage Shares?

Just one hour after the opening bell, the story was simple: yesterday’s hardest-hit stocks are bouncing the hardest today. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose more than 6% intraday, AMD surged 11%, Micron climbed 8% intraday, and SanDisk was already up 10% before the bell. The storage sector gained 7.97% overall—not a minor move, but institutions openly snapping up shares that were sold at the bottom yesterday.

Here’s where the money is going: Buying is highly concentrated in storage (SanDisk, Micron, Western Digital, Seagate), semiconductor equipment (Lam Research, Applied Materials), optical communications (Lumentum up nearly 9%), and the Neocloud computing-capacity rental names (IREN was briefly up 18% premarket).

The outflows are just as clear: Crypto-related stocks are being drained, with Bitcoin falling below $76,000. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $430 million in net outflows in a single day. Coinbase, MSTR, and other stocks tied to crypto prices are struggling to rebound. Money is shifting from the “crypto narrative” to the “hardware narrative.”

But don’t get carried away. The latest nonfarm payrolls showed an increase of 165,000, far exceeding expectations of 65,000, while the 4.1% unemployment rate came in below expectations.

Strong employment means rate-hike expectations could swing back, putting high-valuation tech stocks under pressure. So today’s play isn’t to chase the rally, but to wait for a pullback and confirmation: if storage stocks can hold on to more than half of their morning gains this afternoon, that signals genuine buying support; if not, it’s just a one-day short-covering rally.$SOXL $SNDK $MUU
