Can US Stocks Rebound After Nonfarm Payrolls, or Is More Selling Ahead? 🇺🇸

All eyes are on the October US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) report today. After Thursday's sharp sell-off, investors are looking for fresh clues about the health of the US economy and the Federal Reserve's next move.

Here are the key expectations:

📊 Expected job additions: Around 65,000
📉 Previous NFP: 29,000
👷 Unemployment rate: Expected to remain at 4.2%
💵 Monthly wage growth: Expected at 0.3%

My take: Markets may prefer a balanced report. Job growth close to expectations with moderate wage increases could ease concerns about economic weakness without adding too much pressure on inflation.

However, a very strong report could push Treasury yields higher and revive rate-hike concerns, while extremely weak hiring could increase recession fears.

For me, the important signals are payroll growth, unemployment and wage inflation together, not just the headline number.

What do you expect after the report: a US stock market recovery or another round of selling?
