On November 6, BNB Chain announced plans to migrate network validators to the Reth-based BSC-Reth client by the end of 2026. Internal benchmarks show that integrating Reth 2.5.1 increased throughput by about 40% compared with the TrieDB-based configuration. BNB Chain will assess whether to support BEP-675 to extend block-building time and explore block-level access lists and EVM2 to speed up execution.
