Musinoot Watch | Binance Withdrawal Resumption No. 8: Around 300 token networks reopened in total, but withdrawals are still available on the same 15 networks as on 11/1

Binance posted its eighth progress update on reopening withdrawals today: starting at 12:00, withdrawals would be reopened in batches for 69 token networks—36 on ETH, 24 on BSC, 4 on Base, 3 on TRX, and 1 each on Polygon and SUI—prioritized according to user demand over the past week.

This article compares the lists in updates No. 4, No. 6, and No. 8 with Binance's publicly available withdrawal network status to see how many have reopened by update No. 8 and what's still unavailable.

🐋 Three batches

- 11/1 (No. 4): 33 token networks across 15 networks. BTC opened first at 14:38, and all were open by 20:36. That day, from 14:00 to 23:30, withdrawals totaled $4.649 billion and deposits totaled $1.01 billion, for net outflows of around $3.64 billion
- 11/3 (No. 6): 103, plus all bStocks (Binance's tokenized U.S. stocks). 38 on ETH, 31 on BSC, and 22 on Solana
- 11/5 (No. 8): 69, covering 62 tokens. UNI, AAVE, HYPER, SAND, FLOKI, VIRTUAL, and MORPHO each opened on ETH and on BSC (or Base)

The latter two batches all used the same 15 networks as the first batch.

🐋 How many were open before No. 8

Binance withdrawal network status, today at 11:47:

- 240 token networks had withdrawals open: 32 from the first batch, 103 from the No. 6 list, and another 105 bStocks on BSC
- 197 tokens had at least one network available for withdrawals
- ETH on Optimism, which had opened in the first batch, is now closed again. The page says the reason is an insufficient hot wallet balance

🐋 After all of No. 8 is open

Once all 69 are open, the number of token networks with withdrawals available will reach 309, and the number of tokens withdrawable on at least one network will reach 256. Of the 62 tokens, 59 will be available for withdrawals for the first time, including AAVE, UNI, LDO, ENS, FIL, INJ, WLFI, and ASTER. AVAX, BREV, and HOME already had other networks available for withdrawals.

A check at 12:04 showed that 8 of the 69 had opened, all on ETH: AAVE, UNI, MORPHO, WLFI, EIGEN, SAND, PAXG, and YFI.

No new networks were added in No. 8; withdrawals are still open on the same 15 networks.

🐋 Still unavailable

Withdrawals are available for 631 depositable tokens. Even after all of No. 8 is open, 378 will still have no network available for withdrawals. Some of these had already been closed before 10/29, which the page doesn't make clear.

- No networks open at all: APT, ATOM, BCH, ETC, TAO, TIA, HYPE
- Only the BSC version is open; the native network is not: ADA, LTC, NEAR, XLM
- On Ethereum: PEPE, CRV, WBTC
- Bitcoin ecosystem: ORDI, 1000SATS (BRC-20), STX. None have appeared in announcements up to and including No. 8

Will the next batch open the 16th network?
