Tech valuations just flipped the script.

$NVDA is now trading at 12.7x forward earnings — down from 40x. That's cheaper than $AAPL, $MSFT, and $META. The AI infrastructure builder is priced like a value stock.

Meanwhile, $MU, $AMD, $ORCL, and $AVGO are sitting 54% to 69% off their highs. These are the picks-and-shovels plays — the companies building the rails for AI — and they're deeply discounted.

$AAPL, on the other hand, is at all-time highs trading at 36.5x. The consumer tech giant is more expensive than the chipmakers powering the entire AI stack.

What this tells you: The market rotated hard out of infrastructure and into end-user plays. The builders got sold off while the brand names stayed bid.

For traders, this is a classic mean-reversion setup. When the infrastructure layer trades at a discount to the consumer layer, you're looking at asymmetry. The AI buildout isn't done — it's just repricing.

Watch for stabilization in $NVDA and the semis. If they hold these levels and start reclaiming structure, you've got a textbook value rotation trade into the companies that actually build the future.
