🔍 46 targets, not a single wallet address

On November 5, the U.S. Treasury’s OFAC named 46 targets at once: 4 individuals, 41 entities, and one Malaysian national. The first 45 were all part of the corporate web under Prince Group.

There were no wallet addresses on the list. No exchanges. Just companies. Hong Kong lending firms (Premium Financial, Solar Scape Financial), BVI holding companies (Sun Speed, Solar Scape, Direct Astute, Glad Glory), a wine distributor, an airline, an insurance company, and a string of construction companies.

The Treasury’s explanation was blunt: after naming the leaders last October and this June, this group continued managing their offshore structures, concealing beneficial owners, and holding assets for the sanctioned bosses. This operation was carried out jointly by FBI field offices in New York and Honolulu, the Justice Department’s Scam Center Strike Force, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Alaska, with intelligence provided by the UK Foreign Office and the BVI Financial Investigation Agency.

The wallet side tells the other half of the story. A report from TRM Labs last week found that from January 1 to September 7 this year, 34 casinos in Sihanoukville took in $1.07 billion in crypto assets, of which $687 million (64%) went to casinos linked to OFAC-sanctioned networks. 99.9% was USDT on TRON. Just one coin.

Average monthly inflows fell from $148 million between January and May to around $95 million in July and August. Inflows to sanctioned casinos dropped from $100 million to $48 million. More than halved.

On September 8, Cambodia revoked 18 casino licenses and suspended 9. The counters stayed open. Cashiers took USDT and exchanged it for chips and dollars; customers were barely checked.

The focus of sanctions is shifting. Block an address and it can be replaced. Block a company, and its bank accounts, company secretary, auditor, and lease are cut off too.

As for crypto prices, six-source quotes put BTC at 75,511 to 75,668, down 6% over 24 hours. ETH was at 2,225 to 2,229, down 8.2%.

Wallets can be replaced. Companies can’t.
