The Binance hack just jumped the fence into TradFi.

Reuters says Fed and OCC supervisors started calling US banks on Monday, asking about unusual activity or service disruptions after the $6.3B wallet hit. They want to know if a crypto breach can bleed into banking systems now that the two sides sit closer.

Banks are running their own diagnostics. One of the big ones even reached Binance security within hours of the attack and is writing an internal report.

No bank disruptions reported so far. Fed and OCC both declined comment. Binance says it was not aware of those bank calls and is updating regulators worldwide.

For traders this is the spillover risk showing up in the headlines. $BNB is the name sitting next to it.
