Wall Street tokenization just got a real user, not only a signup list.

Morgan Stanley says it has started tokenizing US stocks and Treasurys through DTCC's new tokenization service, which went live Oct 28. The Block and CoinDesk both picked it up from the bank's own post.

DTCC is the plumbing that settles most US stock and bond trades, holding around $114T in custody. The tokens are digital twins of securities it already holds, with the same ownership rights. JPMorgan, Citi, BofA and Fidelity are among the 20 firms signed up.

One catch, Morgan Stanley pushed tokenized stocks on its own trading venue to Q1 2027.

For us this is the RWA story getting bigger. Unchained notes Ondo is among the collaborators DTCC named, so $ONDO is the one I'd keep on the radar.
