#美国中期选举:市场有哪些期待? U.S. Stock Market News Analysis: The Midterm Election Uncertainty Is Over—Why Are Tech Giants So Deeply Divided?
All three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher overnight. The Dow surged 1,569 points, or 3.03%, to 53,356.12, its biggest one-day gain in a year and a half. The Nasdaq rose 1.44%, and the S&P 500 gained 1.58%. But beneath the index-wide rally, the divergence between sectors was extreme.
Among the most actively traded stocks, Apple rose 5.31% on $31.259 billion in trading, reclaiming the top spot by market capitalization. Microsoft gained 6.68% on $28.073 billion in trading, reaching a new all-time high. Amazon rose 6.12% on $24.863 billion in trading.
On the other side, Nvidia fell 3.17% on $29.982 billion in trading; Micron Technology plunged 7.00% on $28.606 billion; and Tesla dropped 3.34% on $18.328 billion.
The key news catalyst was the midterm election: Democrats swept Congress, easing political uncertainty. Trump said he was willing to work together, and risk appetite rebounded instantly.
But Democratic policy priorities dealt a direct blow to data centers and the semiconductor supply chain. CoreWeave fell nearly 10%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index was down more than 2% at one point.
Meanwhile, hyperscale cloud providers became safe havens. Microsoft, Amazon, and Google all surged as the market shifted from “buying computing power” to “buying cash flow.”
The election removed macroeconomic uncertainty, but it also brought the tech sector’s internal divisions fully into view$GOOGL $SOXL $KORU
