Binance Research projects that the global cryptocurrency market could reach US$ 12,1 trillion by 2028 in an optimistic scenario—nearly 4.5 times its current size.

But growth could extend beyond Bitcoin. According to analysts, the expansion of ETFs and the tokenization of real-world assets (RWAs) could attract even more capital to the sector.

The value of distributed RWAs has already reached US$ 38,6 billion, up 51.4% year to date.
The report also highlights Binance’s leading position, accounting for around 30% of Bitcoin trading volume among the five largest exchanges, in both spot and futures markets.

The next phase of the crypto market may be marked not only by the appreciation of digital currencies, but also by the growing integration of blockchain with the traditional economy.

Important: US$ 12,1 trillion represents an optimistic scenario contingent on the continuation of the historical trend, not a guaranteed forecast.
