Coinbase says the incident involving Binance’s hot wallet did not affect its platform in any way.

🏦 More than 99% of Coinbase customer assets are stored in cold wallets—offline and disconnected from the internet.

So while hackers search for something to steal, Coinbase’s crypto is playing hide-and-seek somewhere behind seven digital locks. 😂

Jokes aside, cold storage significantly reduces the risk of online attacks, although it doesn’t guarantee absolute security.
