$UNI This strong rally may be about more than just positive market sentiment!
While BTC and ETH are still moving in step with the broader market, UNI has been marching to its own beat. What’s really worth watching is the funds Binance has yet to fully replenish!

First, one key detail: hackers previously sold about 7.02 million UNI, cashing out roughly $39.6 million at an average price of about $5.65.
Based on information disclosed so far, Binance has recovered around 95%–98% of its stolen assets overall. But the hardest assets to deal with are among those still outstanding—and they include UNI, which has relatively limited liquidity.

This has created a very unusual supply-and-demand situation for $UNI .
Binance needs to gradually replenish the stolen assets, but UNI isn’t a major coin that can always be easily bought at any time.
Order-book depth is limited, large holders are reluctant to sell, and there aren’t many tokens that sellers are genuinely willing to put on the market.
If concentrated buying demand emerges, the limited sell orders could be snapped up quickly, naturally making the price more resilient.

Even more noteworthy, withdrawal services for assets such as ETH have gradually resumed, but the UNI channel has not yet fully reopened.
The market has been watching this signal closely: When will the remaining shortfall be covered? Will replenishment funds continue to bring buying demand for UNI?

In the short term, the pace of replenishment and the timing of resumed withdrawals may remain the key factors driving UNI’s price action.
As long as this demand hasn’t fully run its course, UNI may have a chance to continue charting its own course.
Of course, this event isn’t the only thing that makes UNI worth watching.
The Binance security incident has prompted more investors to reassess the value of decentralized exchanges. Whether DEXs can handle more trading demand is becoming an important narrative in the DeFi sector.
Combined with the ongoing evolution of the Uniswap protocol and the long-term potential of its fee mechanism, UNI isn’t a name supported solely by short-term news.

What I’m focused on right now isn’t how much UNI has risen today, but when the remaining replenishment will be completed and when withdrawals will resume.
Once either of these milestones changes, the market’s pricing logic for $UNI could shift quickly.
One is a short-term tug-of-war between supply and demand; the other is the long-term potential of the DEX sector.
With these two forces intertwined, it’s no wonder UNI has recently outperformed a host of altcoins.
UNI is definitely one to keep on your watchlist in the period ahead!
