Someone on GitHub turned a trading desk into plugins. For free.

Most people are still opening web pages one by one to check candlestick charts, browse the news, and review trades in spreadsheets.
A few have connected all of that to AI assistants and get results with a single sentence.

I picked the 5 most useful ones:

1|TradingView MCP
What it does: Screeners, multi-timeframe technical analysis, and indicator data.
How I use it: Every morning, I ask AI to scan the coins I’m watching and flag any trend changes.
Try saying: “Scan the 4h and daily charts for BTC, ETH, and SOL, and list any trend reversals.”
(atilaahmettaner/tradingview-mcp)

2|Day Trader Skill
What it does: 11 day-trading skills for chart scanning, monitoring breaking news, and putting together pre-market checklists.
How I use it: Before the market opens, I ask it to put together a one-page pre-market briefing.
Try saying: “Use the day-trader skill to make me today’s pre-market checklist.”
(Jakeschincariol/day-trader-skill)

3|Trading Skills Collection
What it does: A set of skills for traders, covering market analysis, technical analysis, and trade reviews.
How I use it: For my weekend review, I ask it to write a weekly recap in a fixed format.
Try saying: “Use trading skills to review my trades from this week.”
(tradermonty/claude-trading-skills)

4|Alpaca MCP (Official)
What it does: Market and account data for US stocks, ETFs, and crypto—and it can also place orders.
How I use it: I connect it only to a paper-trading account to check positions and test ideas. I don’t let it touch real money.
Try saying: “Check the positions and today’s P&L in my paper account.”
(alpacahq/alpaca-mcp-server)

5|Polymarket MCP
What it does: Look up order books, odds, and market listings on prediction markets.
How I use it: I treat event odds as a gauge of sentiment and look at them alongside the news.
Try saying: “List the 5 prediction markets related to BTC with the highest trading volume.”
(caiovicentino/polymarket-mcp-server)

A quick reminder:
For anything connected to an exchange or brokerage, enable read-only API access only.
Never grant permission to place orders or withdraw funds.
Get comfortable using it with a paper-trading account first.

These tools just save you time; they don’t make decisions for you.

Save this post so you can find it when you need it.
