⏱️ Midday update: an honest review — support broke, resistance held

$BTC Right yesterday / wrong yesterday — complete honesty:

• Right: $77,494 became a ceiling — price didn’t even come close after the overnight breakdown
• Wrong: $76,588 didn’t hold — price dropped overnight to $75,625, its lowest level since September 15, and is now trading around $76,494, still below it
• Also wrong on Ethereum: $2,272 broke, and Ethereum is now around $2,253 after hitting a low of $2,223

What changed from morning to midday?
• The level that will decide today is clearer: $76,588 has turned from support into resistance, and reclaiming it is the only test for a bounce
• The overnight breakdown wasn’t followed by further panic: funding is at baseline, and liquidations are limited — meaning the market is shocked, not exhausted by leverage
• The election is still the headline: counting is ongoing, and prediction markets are pricing in a Democratic Congress

Bottom line ahead of this afternoon’s data: Don’t rush to judge the bounce before a 4-hour close above $76,588 or below $75,625.

Quick question: Yesterday I asked whether you expected a rise or a fall, and the market responded with a fall — what do you expect by midday: a reclaim or another breakdown? Write “reclaim” or “breakdown.”
