I gave it some thought 🤔. The biggest risk for longtime investors this cycle isn’t missing out—it’s using last cycle’s playbook to navigate this one 👇

The old script: BTC takes off → ETH follows → capital spills into altcoins → sectors rotate and everything rises. Just hold on and you win.

But that playbook is starting to fail this cycle ❌

There’s a severe oversupply of assets: tens of thousands of new tokens every day, while older projects are still unlocking tokens. Capital hasn’t grown in step, and the total stablecoin supply has been flat for nearly two years. Liquidity is no longer flooding the market—it’s being deployed selectively 🤌

ETFs have rewritten the game: institutions entering the market buy only BTC/ETH, and retail investors don’t have enough money to lift everything. The altcoin rally window has shrunk from 60 days to less than 20〽️

The next cycle is more likely to see K-shaped divergence: BTC hits new highs, while a handful of sectors with real revenue and users deliver repeated gains; many established altcoins, VC-backed tokens, and purely narrative-driven Memes keep sliding even in a bull market. The broader market is bullish 🐂 while your coin is bearish 🐻—that’ll be the norm.

Narratives are shifting faster and faster. By the time you’ve done your research and entered, early investors are already heading for the exit 💰

Old cycle: Hold on with your eyes closed and wait for the wind to pick up.

New cycle: Keep your eyes open, follow the money—not the stories.
