I got into crypto with one thought: “I’ll buy now and be rich tomorrow.” That’s not how it works. I lost my first deposit in a week. Only then did I realize the three main mistakes almost every beginner makes.

1. They buy at the highs and sell in a panic. You see a green candle—you rush to buy. You see a red one—you panic and sell at a loss. That’s how the market works: the crowd always buys high and sells low. As long as you act on emotion, you’re feeding the people who stay calm.

2. Believing in “the coin that’ll go 100x tomorrow.” If someone comments, “Buy this coin, it’ll skyrocket tomorrow,” it’s a trap 99% of the time. Real projects don’t shout about going 100x. They spend years building a product.

3. Investing all your money at once. The dumbest mistake. I put everything I had into one coin. It dropped 40%. And there was nothing I could do but watch. The rule that saved me: never invest more than you’re willing to lose. And never put it all into one project.

Now I do things differently: I don’t chase rockets. I spread out my investment. And I don’t check the chart every 5 minutes. Crypto isn’t a casino. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.

What mistake did you make at the beginning?
