Golden Pig’s take: $HEMI is the kind of coin that peaked the moment it launched. Don’t think about buying the dip right now—first figure out why nobody’s trading it anymore.

Its first Binance spot candlestick opened at 0.696. It’s now at 0.00465, down about 99.3%. Even compared with its closing price of 0.138 on launch day, it’s down about 96.6%.

The trading volume is even more painful: it averaged about $95 million a day during its first 7 days, but less than $900,000 a day over the past 7 days—a drop of about 99%.

Only about 42.5% of the total supply of 10 billion tokens is circulating. More than half hasn’t entered the market yet. The hype has faded, but the tokens haven’t all been released. I stay away from setups like this.

I’m not saying the project is necessarily beyond saving, but a lot of people have learned the hard way that “it’s down 99%, so it’s cheap” is flawed logic when it comes to new coins.

What data do you usually check before buying a new coin?
