Wall Street is moving assets onto the blockchain — no longer an experiment.
On October 28, DTCC launched a securities tokenization service. 20 participants will connect, including JPMorgan, Citi, and BofA. At launch: Canton and a private Besu network.
Important: this does not cover all $114 trillion in assets under DTCC’s custody, only certain securities.
Bottom line: RWA is getting infrastructure from traditional markets. We’re watching liquidity and usage.
