This morning, the temperature was 0°C, with some mild air pollution. Conditions like this are becoming more common in the Northeast at this time of year. It was much warmer than yesterday’s −7°C, but when the temperature swings, choosing what to wear for a winter run takes extra thought. I try things on before heading out, then switch outfits when I get back: too many layers and I sweat; too few and I get cold. It’s really hard to get the balance right. Luckily, I’m in the habit of keeping a journal and writing posts, so I can look back at my posts and see what I wore in similar temperatures. That’s one of the benefits of keeping a journal.
My second run of the day: 7.06 km in 59 minutes and 57 seconds, with an average pace of 8′29″ and an average heart rate of 132 bpm. With the temperature rising, it felt much more comfortable. My heart rate was steady and slightly lower than yesterday’s, and I kept a relaxed pace throughout. I finished without feeling tense.
The market as a whole has entered a bottoming-out phase. The bull market we had been hoping for hasn’t continued smoothly, and pressure is clearly mounting, with signs of another dip before it gathers strength. BTC’s weakness is weighing on market sentiment, and BNB is moving lower as well. SUI was among the biggest decliners today, and short-term selling pressure has yet to fully ease. I’ll stick to a long-term approach and not let short-term volatility disrupt my regular investment plan, while patiently waiting for the market to stabilize.
